We appreciate your interest in coaching for our 2025 football season. Coaching is a huge commitment of time and dedication and we appreciate your support.
As you go through and fill out this application please keep in mind the following information as attendance is key to having a successful season.
- The 5v5 and 7v7 season begins practice in January. (PJV will not have a 5v5 or 7v7 season for 2025)
- The bowls for 5's and 7's are on weekends beginning in February. (PJV will not have a 5v5 or 7v7 season for 2025)
- Tackle football conditioning begins June and runs through the end of July. It is two days a week- Tues and Thurs from 6-7pm.
- Tackle football practice officially starts August and has the potential to go through the second week in November.
- Practices are Monday - Friday from 6pm-8pm during the month of August.
- After Labor Day weekend practices move to Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm-8pm for the duration of the season.
- All games are on Saturdays or Sundays (few minor changes occurred this past season due to ref and field availability).
- Schedule with game times and locations will be posted from NJFL the last week in August.
- There will be several coaches meetings before our season starts, there will be advance notice of these meetings.
- We expect coaches to attend PJV events (Ex: fundraisers, parades, gear fittings, parent meetings, team BBQ's, PHS football feed, Santa parade, etc.).
- We encourage coaches and player's to attend the HS home games, great team building.
